Norway? In November? Yes.

I didn't know quite what to expect in Norway and was shocked by the rugged beauty and the infrastructure set up to access it. Yeah, it was off season and the weather was a bit variable (aka sometimes truly awful,) but the crowds were zero and I'm a sucker for snowy landscapes. I love old, beat up things too (I call it 'character', and this love resulted in me spending a decade in New Orleans,) so these fishing sheds really captivated me. The mountains were okay also.  There are less restaurants open, but all the gas stations sell bacon wrapped hot dogs. So, NO WORRIES.  (Spoiler alert: My favorite gas station meat will be a post in the future. It's one of my many passions. Some think that's gross and that's cool too. To each their own.)
